Phishing Email – WARNING The domain mydomain.com has reached their disk quota -

We have noticed, and clients have also reported, a huge increase in a cPanel phishing email that looks genuine, but is far from it. The email suggests that your domain name has reached a quota which could affect your files and emails. It then entices users to click on links supposedly to auto extend your disk capacity for free as soon as possible in order to prevent the loss of any files and future emails. This is a SCAM EMAIL - do not click on any links!

THESE EMAILS ARE SCAMS

These emails will look similar to what you see below in this image. The links (if you click on them) will take you to a site that looks very similar to your cPanel on your hosting account, but it is not! DO NOT CLICK ON ANY LINKS WITHIN THIS EMAIL and simply report it direct to us.

WARNING The domain mydomain.com has reached their disk quota

What happens if I have clicked on the link and entered my control panel login details?

For the majority of our own clients, we deal with their hosting for them and we are the only ones accessing their cPanel accounts. However, if you have your own access to your cPanel, and have entered details such as your login and password, then please contact us immediately so we can secure your account.
