IPhone Edit POP Server Settings for Linux Hosting -
This article explains how to edit or change your Outlook connection settings on an IPhone with the new connection details for your email account using our linux based server.
IMPORTANT
If your email settings are set up using a IMAP connection for incoming emails, then CLICK HERE TO READ THE IMAP SERVER SETTINGS. DO NOT delete and re-add email as POP unless you have created a backup/export of your email - this could result in lost emails!
IF WE HAVE MOVED YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS OVER THEN THE PASSWORD WILL HAVE CHANGED
If we have taken over your web hosting, we will have created the same email address on our system here. HOWEVER, the password for that email account will be different. When editing your Outlook server settings for the email account, you also need to update and change the password for that particular email address.
Step 1 - Open Outlook app on your phone
Go to the Outlook app and tap the small circle in the top left matching the email account you are editing. Tap on the gear icon in the bottom left of your screen. Tap Edit Login Information. Tap the toggle to enable Advanced Settings. Under POP Incoming Mail Server edit the following information:
POP INCOMING MAIL SERVER -
Host Name: cloud2302.liveboxserver.uk
POP3 Port: 995
Port Security: Encrypted TLS/SSL connection
Password: The password we have supplied you with
SMTP OUTGOING MAIL SERVER -
Host Name: cloud2302.liveboxserver.uk
SMTP Port: 465
Port Security: Encrypted TLS/SSL connection
Password: The password we have supplied you with
Tap Sign In at the bottom to save the changes.
